Today we were very proud to host Grand Lodge Of Instruction event at our Lodge. Grand Lodge Of Instruction is an official communication of the Grand Lodge where lodges of our 3rd Masonic District were displaying their skills and precision in performing parts of Masonic Rituals. We thank ALL the Lodges of our district who participated in this event, and we were proud to host this event and brotherly dinner before it.

Though nothing is ever perfect, since a lot of Masonic Rituals are complicated and require excellent memory and percision, everybody got good feedback from Grand Lodge Instructors. Some members of lodges in our district got their first bars (certified qualifications) and we extend our congratulations to them. Among those people was our dear brother (and an officer of Mosaic Lodge) Jorge Martinez who proudly presented his knowledge of one of the degree lectures to the Grand Lodge instructors. Congratulations brother Jorge!

This Grand Lodge Of Instruction event and performance of people participating in it, really showed high determination from members of the lodges of our Masonic District. We hope to always keep this high standard in performance of Masonic Rituals. We thank all the Grand Lodge instructors for giving us a chance to learn from them and for their time that they have spent educating us and make sure that everybody in our district is at their very best.

Official "Masonic Year" has come to the close. Now Mosaic Lodge is "officially" closed for the summer break. But dont let the "break" word fool you, Mosaic Lodge is planning a lot of renovation work during this summer time. If you have time an wish to participate we can use any help you can give, if you need to know the details please contact one of the officers for schedule details. Plus lets not forget the upcoming Independence Day parade! We wecome all members to come and march with us through the streets of Ridgefiled Park on July 4th 2011. Mosaic Lodge #194 closed this wonderful year by welcoming new members into our ranks. On Thursday June 16th we welcomed five new members as Entered Apprentice Masons. From this day forward John McConvil, David Colin, Lawrence "Mike" Nino, Andrew White and Emil Brazone are officially brothers of our wonderful fraternity and members of Mosaic Lodge #194. Welcome and we hope you enjoyed taking this first step on the road to becoming Master Masons of our lodge.

We wish to thank all of the visiting Masons from other lodges who came for the EA degree ceremony on this date of June 16th. We were happy to have you and we hope you keep honoring us with your visits and come march with us on Independence Day parade.

Following members have celebrated their Masonic Birthdays on June 16th: Brother Jose Figueroa, Brother Emmanuel Cornelio, Brother Anton Skvortsov, and Brother Jeffrey Chan. We congratulate brothers Jose Figueroa, Emmanuel Cornelio and Anton Skvortsov on their first Masonic Birthday as all three of them became Master Masons last year on June 17th 2010. And we congratulate brother Jeffrey Chan on his 19th year as a Mason, brother Jeffrey Chan became master mason on June 16th 1992.

We also congratulate those Masons who also celebrated their Masonic Birthdays this week, but thier birthdays are not marked on our database records. (Hint: Please don't forget to set your Masonic Birthday in your profile)

Thus ends the "Masonic Year" and thus starts the summer break of 2011, Mosaic Lodge #194 will resume it's normal communications in September, please check our website for exact dates, they will be posted at later date. (Also check back for pictures from past Blood Drive and from annual Mosaic Tiki Roast, pictures will be posted soon!)
